Nord-Trøndelag Hospital Trust

Levanger Hospital and Namsos Hospital are the local hospitals for the inhabitants of Nord-Trøndelag, Mid-Norway: 140,000 inhabitants in 26 municipalities.

Nord-Trøndelag Hospital Trust has approximately 2750 employees, and provides hospital services as well as special health care services to the population of Nord-Trøndelag.

Namsos Hospital, with approx. 1,100 employees, has an orthopaedic and surgical ward, and offers health care services within anaesthetics, physiotherapy, medicine, gynaecology/maternity, neurology, psychiatry, ear/nose/throat, eye, medical imaging, ambulance services and AMK (emergency medical communications center).

Levanger Hospital, with approx. 1,650 employees, has an orthopaedic and surgical ward, and offers health care services within anaesthetics, physiotherapy, medicine, gynaecology/maternity, children's and adolescent psychiatry, neurology,  medical imaging, psychiatry and ambulance services.
